Robin C. Brown has been a student of Florida's fossil past since childhood. Together with his wife and four children, he has hunted fossils from the Panhandle to the Keys. He did many of the line drawings in this book and most of the photography. He printed all the photographs in his own darkroom. Dr. Brown is also the author of Florida's First People, also published by Pineapple Press.
